DEPOSITS ARE DUE FOR GGA 2000 BY MAY 1, 2000

A deposit of $75.00 will be required for the cost of getting our trip on the road.
We are initiating a new method to pay for your share of the trip cost.  We plan on collecting $350.00 cash more during the breakfast stop from each member.  In doing this the club will have a purse to cover all assoiciated costs of the trip.  This will include breakfast and tip, fuel stops, house booze, food, cabin cost, license' fees, lunch on the return and fuel top off in the U.S. on the return.  No more digging in your wallet every time we purchase something for the American Angler's Club.  No more trying to split every bill 7 or 8 ways. We will also have Canadian funds of about $300 on hand for local purchases without the exchange hassle.  If we run short we will have to kick in a bit more, but I am reasonably sure that you should get a kick back instead with the return credit we get at the border.  In reviewing last years receipts I have exstimated the cost of the trip at $425.00 per member all inclusive.(Not including rebate)

  AL'S SPECIAL DAY

Yes this was Al's day of glory back in 1999.  He's been talking about that fish all year now.  But now we will recognize his efforts with the official hat pin for the largest fish of 1999.  When asked how it felt Al responded,
It's hard to be humble when you're dangling the BIG MEAT in your hand.  Yes Al you got to hang on the BIG MEAT last year but wait till this year!  The rest of the gang wont' let this happen again!    (related story page 3)

Quote of the week.......This sissey fishin isn't that hard, and it's kind of fun too!
